We fix doors, springs, openers, tracks, and rollers. We don't build garages, pour slabs, or do general carpentry, and if your door needs a full frame rebuild because the jamb has rotted out, that's a job for a carpenter first and us second. We also won't sell you a new opener when the fix is a $20 sensor realignment - a lot of the service calls we get around Pekin turn out to be a bent track or a misaligned photo eye, not a dead motor.
On the housing side, a good chunk of what we see dates back to the 1938 to 2002 building window that covers most of this area, with the median closer to 1964. Doors and hardware from that era often use torsion springs and track hardware that isn't stocked on the truck for every make, so a same-day fix isn't always possible if a part has to be ordered.
